Catheter angiography is still considered the gold standard for imaging cerebral vasculature, though catheterisation of vertebral and carotid arteries can be a challenge. Apart from different anatomic variants of the aortic arches, the main factor affecting the shape of the aortic arch and the branching arteries is the type of the aortic arch. The aim of this study is to present our experience in choosing the most proper diagnostic catheter for cerebral angiography procedure.

The study presents types of catheters used during cerebral angiographies.
