Wow, super old thread...but Tegaderm still cant be beat!
Tegaderm is a branded product created by 3M. So any transparent
wound dressing manufactured by 3M is using Tegaderm. You can
get it in multiple sizes, usually at drugstores like CVS in the
US. However, it is very expensive to buy that way. I recommend
searching on Amazon and getting larger pieces and packs for a
cheaper price per unit.
Tegaderm comes in a lot of varieties these days, and the right
one for you is going to depend on what kind of wound youre
talking about. I usually am trying to cover road rash, so I
still with the Transparent Film Dressing. But if youre talking
about some kind of lacerations, or something else, I would
suggest asking a doctor or some other kind of medical
professional.
