There are various surgical and non-surgical treatments for lymphedema. It makes sense to review as many as you can with your lymphedema specialist so can decide which of them may work best for you.

Your lymphedema specialist may recommend arm elevation if your lymphedema is stage 0 or stage 1. Typically, you prop up your arm on pillows on a slant, so that your hand is above your wrist and your elbow is higher than your shoulder.
