Our history dates back to 1968, when the then Netzsch-Newamatic GmbH delivered the first washing machine for laboratory glassware. About twenty years later the foundation stone for the Belimed brand was laid: The Swiss founding fathers had the vision of combining the first-class stainless steel processing of Belinox with the laundry technology know-how of Gehrig to produce innovative products for the medical industry.

In 1990, the time had come: Belimed was founded as a joint venture between Belinox, a company with a long history in craftsmanship, precision engineering and stainless steel products, and Gehrig AG, a manufacturer of high-quality dishwashers for restaurants and hotels.
