iSED® brings a novel approach to ESR[1] by directly measuring RBC aggregation with capillary photometry during rouleaux formation. Results are available in seconds and highly correlated to the Westergren method. No disposables or sample setup required. Capped primary EDTA tubes can be directly inserted into the instrument, and mixing, sampling, and reading is performed by iSED® for true walk-away automation.
