CooperVision’s Biofinity range are soft contact lenses made from comfilcon A, an exceptionally comfortable material that offers a high level of breathability. They’re monthly disposable lenses available for those with short-sightedness, long-sightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia.

Comfilcon A is a silicone hydrogel-based material used by CooperVision to manufacture the Biofinity contact lens range. These lenses are often described as ‘hydrophilic’ or ‘water-loving’, as they’re particularly adept at absorbing water. This makes for a soft and flexible lens that fits the eye securely and comfortably and the material itself has a water content of 48%, particularly high for a contact lens.
