I consulted with a doctor to get a chin implant, and he told me that he only uses pre-jowl chin implants for all patients as he believes it augments the face in a more balanced way. Is this common, for prejowl implants to only be used? And would getting one at a young age (24, female) prevent me from having jowls at old age? I have a wide (WIDE) jaw that is square and want to avoid widening it any further, so I wonder if this type of implant (prejowl chin imp.) would widen my face more.
