Juvéderm® HYDRATE is part of the Juvéderm® ULTRA[1] family of dermal fillers which contain hyaluronic acid (HA) as well as the anti-oxidant, mannitol.

Juvéderm® HYDRATE is designed to improve skin hydration and elasticity by replacing HA lost through ageing. It is not a traditional filler; instead it acts as a hydrating agent, attracting moisture, retaining it within the skin to maintain a healthy glow. It is administered as tiny injections to the face, neck, hands and décolletage.

Juvederm Hydrate was launched in the UK and Europe in 2010 and is manufactured and distributed by Allergan, the maker of the Juvéderm® filler range and the botulinum toxin, Botox®.[2]
